Colors, Shapes and Patterns by Chris Sorrenti
I see in shapes and colors
Depending on the lighting
Some sharper than others
The in and outside worlds
As if looking through a light snow fall
Finer details only up close
The tab at a restaurant
Label on a meat package
Print on a computer screen
I view in shapes and patterns
Not actual words
Unless nose to the screen
Recalling from memory
Location of commands
On pulldown menus
Glasses help but still there’s a blur
And how do I still take such great photos?
You may ask
It’s called autofocus
As a photographer
Without it I’d surely be screwed
