Though a fiscal conservative
I’ve given up on the right
for the meanwhile
as my current party of choice
continues to shoot itself
in the foot and head

Still partially populated
with dinosaurs
desiring to curtail
abortion and same sex marriage
fighting among themselves
over climate change

While anyone with half a brain knows
the climate has always been changing
and always will
how much of it caused by mankind
is up for debate in its immeasurability
I fall upon my social Liberal leanings
to get me through to the other side

Natural ruling party?

The statement alone reeks of arrogance
and clearly indicates why the Grits
should not always be allowed to rule
