The next it’s gone
To cry or cry not
Over spilled milk
With never an end
To the dilemma

Closer but farther apart

The next it’s down
Quiet till we’re amplified
Around and around
The burning bush
The reality monkey goes
Chasing its tail
And where it will stop
Nobody knows
Except that reality
No longer seems real

Though we like to think not
For no one seems to know
Anymore
The right way to move
As often forward
Feels like reverse
And the world
