We’re stretching the meaning of words
So that they size the fit
Cause words can be so much more
When given the right expanse
From what they are or were
So we’re meaning the stretch of words
To explain it another day

And while some die out
New ones rise
To the cadence of the times
Language evolves in unexpected directions
For words are only illusions
And illusion another word
Its meaning to be expanded when the time is right
By an intuitive entrepreneur
And if you’re wondering the how and why
Think of this writing
As a collection of illusions on paper
To be crumpled and tossed away
