The name is certainly ominous
but what happened to Epsilon and Lambda?

Omicron
multiplies and spreads
across the world
though infections up already
via the unvaccinated and Delta

Some say it may not have evolved
in South Africa
come from somewhere before
or is it that Delta was going to
mutate on a global scale anyway?

Human travel or not
we see the result
