The Greatest Spark Of Imagination Is Merely Kindling

by Tom Goss

The Greatest Spark Of Imagination Is Merely Kindling Tossed Into The Fire of Our Kiss

I'm longing for your sweet lips
pressed against mine

for my loneliness disappears
into your eyes

and even when everything
seems to go wrong

our Love remains like mountain streams
flowing to the Sea

we drown the pain
in our steadfast lake of memory

if I knew everything
there is to know

if I could dream
everything there is to dream

then I would travel
through the galaxies

diving into the greatest
black holes

just for a chance
to return to your arms

just for one more
moment with you

and though
this may be fantasy

I know you'll always
be here with me

and that must be enough

Very romantic with such a longing. Nicely done.
