In my latest photos
As the natural course of things
No fuss or worry
As sometimes the simplest subjects
Make the best pictures
Like a solitary flower
Or a pinwheel standing in a garden
Waiting patiently to catch the breeze

I’m beginning to see it
More and more now
Others are too
And while some kid me
About my second childhood photography
I’m happy with it
Just the same
For who else is willing to capture
The simplicity of life
As only a few of us can
