though really have no reason to
you’re not a threat to me
nor am I to you
maybe just to test my resolve
but little pieces of your energy
still manage to slip by
and to be honest
when one tries to hold back a flood
the more force when it breaks through

I’ve put a block on you
like Michael the rebel angel
in that movie
with John Travolta and Andie MacDowell
though so far
it’s not working very well
so let’s just leave it at
