The AstraZeneca debate builds to crescendo
the wolf is loose in the henhouse
mutating and multiplying in geometric expansion
while politicians and doctors can’t make up their minds
hospital beds and ICUs filling up again

Now they say no one under a certain age
due to blood clots
but none showing up here so far
time till booster varies from expert opinion-to-opinion
while the population screams JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN SHOT

The radio chatters endlessly with the rise and fall of days
each chapter a new drama
to fulfil the prophecy of every hundred years
till we can’t hear ourselves think
turn off the racket
