I can’t believe it. My left knee righted itself the other day. I went out earlier for groceries, and it was stiff walking up to the plaza. Took a cab home, and as I moved around the house afterwards, suddenly noticed something amiss...I wasn’t in any pain!

A dislocated knee? What the hell was going on? It felt like the cartilage was going, but I’m not complaining. Still watching it though. It’s amazing what a positive boost it is when your body’s working properly.

My hair grows steadily longer, with all the barber shops still closed. I was hoping to get it done last week when I got paid, but no such luck. It’s not too bad yet, especially after washing, but if I don’t brush it, not long before it’s sticking out in all sorts of wild directions. God...I’m beginning to look like Albert Einstein! LOL

I do have a beard trimmer, and have gotten pretty good at keeping the facial hair looking civilized. Anyhoo, things could be opening back up next week here in Ontario.

Vaccines remain front and center in the news. The Trudeau government has finally conceded in terms of starting domestic vaccine production, as Pfizer and Moderna have had production and delivery problems, while COVID variants are on the loose in different parts of the country. It’ll be months if not next year before we finally see any homegrown relief. More depression and worry.

Despite despites, staying positive, Jason and I celebrated the end of January on the 31st, with a nice roast pork dinner, with pan fried potatoes, gravy, onions…cooked in the pan with the roast, and mixed (frozen) vegetables. Bacon grease always makes a good base, whether cooking beef, pork or turkey. Pan dripping then mixed with gravy mix; always comes out right. Years ago, my mother taught me how to make gravy from scratch. Mine however usually turned out looking like something from another planet...so I evolved. More LOL

Hope your knee is ok- Loved the story. Despite everything- you remain optimistic- you do what needs to be done. I remain locked in my home watching the boob tube; praying I can go to sleep early. Life in the Pandemic is very boring. It would be a nightmare IF I could drive and was NOT an agorophic!!
