I had to walk my dog
She ran faster than I

I was frantic
When I got to the corner
She was there
A boy had her

"I will take your dog
If you carry my Basketball"

We walked
We talked
He asked me out

I agreed
And I swear
I heard
the Fates laughing

We went out for a while broke up
but remained friends
He never really left

My first marriage was a disaster

We broke up

My friend was there
I had his child

We named her Sam
After his Granddad
The dog I was walking
was Sam

People thought I named her after
the dog

Got married sometimes

Had our ups and downs

Still together

and sometimes
If I listen real hard
The fates are STILL laughing
a

Admirable approach Joan - make the reader work. I already have several different versions of your skeletal saga running through my head.
