Where Is She?

by Joan Serratelli

Where is she?

My happy little baby

Everyone's favorite kid

Where is she?

What happened?

Who poisoned her?

Who is responsible?

Me?

No-one told me

She changed
overnight

My beautiful good
little girl became
a teenager

Her life was
spiraling down

I knew something was wrong

Teenaged angst?

No- something was wrong
and it was my fault

I took her for help
She did not want help

You cannot get better
if you don't want help

and She kept getting worse

Trouble seemed to follow her

My good little girl
She paid for her sins

Will she ever be better?

Don't know

She keeps relasping
Where's my baby heading?

I'll Always blame myself

I tried to help
and I failed

I will never give up on her

I want her to have a good life
a happy life

I wish she wanted
the same

When the phone rings too late-
I jump

Where's my baby?
My beautiful funny little girl

I love her
TOO much
I want her
to forgive herself
I want ....

Her to find some peace
She needs to stop looking back
She's smart,
She's pretty
and she's just like me
no motivation

Where's my baby??

Heartbreaking and dramatic. Well stated!
