adding he’d lived a good life

enjoyed every minute of it

just past the border between 79 and 80

swore as those before him

to fight the disease

even though we

because it was him

held the thinnest of hopes

despite knowing the eventual outcome

and though in the interview denied it

many would agree that

when a man like

Alex Trebek dies

it’s always too soon
