Packard and Ossipee by V. Blakechalk lines
on a city
sidewalk.
drawn semi-
recently
to judge by
the vibrance
days after
a rain.
(another--
I mean.
)
straightforward instructions.
new ones, since last
time:
dance left.
shimmy right.
jump over the wormhole.
easy as all that.
do something dumb
in public
and laugh at yourself.
the colors are childish
and the handwriting is
better than mine.
an inconsequence
so achingly beautiful
as to be awesome in a
sense of the word
that we cannot
or do not
use anymore
on a path that
has gone
so dull
and so
impossibly
dark
this year.
i do not
know you,
but
you mean
every
thing
