From childhood
creatively stimulated
by shapes and colors
mechanical / biological
machines...Man

All through life
names I have trouble remembering
faces I never forget
family / work / social circles
some disappeared
only to pop up years later
still alive
or in obituary

And now
though currently strangers
many look vaguely familiar
faces from the past? past lives???
harbingers
of a future encounter
in the outside world?

As on the tree of life
amazing how many I know
who in turn
by coincidence / synchronicity?
know others that I do

Their energies
individually / together
tell myriad tales
eyes / nose / mouth
in unique combinations
yet still reflecting through some detail
others encountered before

But always that
first introductory capture
in the cyberspace of social media
a good reason to name it...
