Stupid Is As...

by Chris Sorrenti

As all apologies
Yours grow tiresome
When we have to hear it all over again
Despite your good will
With the pandemic
By now most of Canada knows
Sincerity is not one of your strong suits
Easily mixes or better confused with stupidity
On any given day
From Aga Khan to SNC-Lavalin
And now We
How much will it take
To wipe that smugness off your face?
When boasting how you willfully
Did not recuse yourself from the decision
The bad optics clear to everyone
But you

Perhaps it’s time for a pair of glasses?
To go along with that elder statesman beard
Or is it fake too?

Bet your father is rolling in his grave

Not a Trudeau admirer then Chris - was his father any less divisive? Poetic polemics are always informative, which is good because the enemy is ignorance.
