Don’t sail too close to those rocks boy
rough waters ahead
fascinating as it is
this virus can possess you
as it does so many others
will easily send you back
to the danger zone

Don’t fly too high
as you always have boy
Destiny has installed
a temporary glass ceiling
and you might bump your head

Don’t swim too close to the bottom boy
the Sea of Words
is not always a friendly place
a muse abandoned
can turn those whitecaps into monsters
should Diabetes and COVID-19
ever meet
