One of the most interesting experiences I can recall sharing with you, was when we ran into each other by chance one night in Vanier.

Sometime in the summer of 1977. I was heading to a buddy’s to take off for the Chaud...a Wednesday ritual, when a couple of blocks up Marrier Street, I ran into you and a friend. I think her name was Christine. Completely caught off guard, it was confusing, but also exciting. As you said you lived around there, part of me wondering if we could go back to your place and party, while at the same time, still feeling an obligation towards my other friends.

In any case, we smiled cordially, exchanged a few pleasantries, with no such connection made, and went on our separate ways.
