I no longer worry about
writing poetry
haven’t for quite a while
having learned
with patience
most poems eventually
write themselves
though a few need
a helping hand

As I go about my
daily business
interacting with the world
inside and out
from myriad sources
images arrive
as a meteor shower
that means no harm
mix and melt together
in meditation
words begin to assemble
form sentences
before even typing them

It’s been happening a lot lately
