I didn’t ask for this to happen
though it already has
call it a ghost from past incursions
nudging me into the great beyond

I had hoped with Connecting The Dots
the passion had subsided
though now realize a werewolf
never tires of its new blood

In Dribs & Drabs
it has followed me
incites me to push the boundaries
in the physical and spiritual worlds

With one foot in the grave
I tread softly upon mother Earth
who informs me
I must pass through
yet another great invasion
before finally embracing her warmth
