though in many ways still kids

projection of likes dislikes

of lives not always or no longer
able to interact face to face

some let out very little
while others too much
majority aiming for the in-between
an alternate reality
based on electronics
that helps fight loneliness and depression
in a continuing countless
string of encounters
moods and mood swings
easily telegraphed through
pictures and words
