as a game of Show & Tell for adults
though in many ways still kids
each page a reflection of its owner
in mind and spirit
projection of likes dislikes
various sides to a single personality
of lives not always or no longer
able to interact face to face

some let out very little
while others too much
majority aiming for the in-between
an alternate reality
based on electronics
that helps fight loneliness and depression
in a continuing countless
string of encounters
moods and mood swings
easily telegraphed through
pictures and words
