I feel like a mountain
tall as a skyscraper
tough as steel
people looking up to me
asking questions
looking for suggestions
on how to better their own lives

I feel like a superpower
a union of states
with a just constitution
to every problem
I have a solution
others walking in my shadow
following me to unknown places

I feel like a mountain
but wasn’t always this way
I had to start from the bottom
build my way to the top
stone by stone
rock by rock
heaved defiantly at me
one by one I ate them up
until become what you see
standing before you
