redefine: gravitational anomaly

by Aaron Michael

feelings not yet cured
in the concrete
still stick
they're messy
and end up where you least
expect them to show
like the letters in
between the words you hear
the subtexual surreal
and brash bold type of a font
that seems too big for
the loading screen of our game.

symbiotic needs
play persuasive with my
longing till at last
i see you again

i'm waiting to trace my name
into this and let it dry
but you are still wet
and weeding through me to know
for certain whether
we are each others remedy
or a symptom of something
we must cure alone.

still we dance,
bodies in symmetrical circles
orbiting each others' space
with the occasional glancing blow
and carom into another spin
with the gravity of uncertainty
holding us together.

Love this piece Aaron. Great construction, message throughout. Title well reflective of the text. Can certainly relate in my own way.
