A familiar cocktail
Though after 20 years
More refined

And yes
An appointment with a new shrink
In a couple of weeks

As always one day at a time
One step at a time
God I get tired of saying those lines
Or is it two steps forward...?

Meanwhile
Plenty of sleep
Good food and exercise
To help us see
Where evolved reality leads next

As 20 years before
I’d like to write a happy ending
To this story
But the head psychiatrist
Has determined
It’s still not time
