Aren’t that many differences

Between Canadians and Americans

Both thinking their country

The greatest in the world

Though no argument

Canada would have difficulty

Surviving militarily

Without the United States


Parliament vs. Congress

And out of that now

We have Trudeau

They have Trump

Who will last longest

A running discussion

At any water cooler


Thing I’ve never figured out though

Freshman...Sophomore...Junior...Senior...???


Although Canadians would agree

High school

One of the most important periods

In a young person’s life

We Canucks have never felt the need

To label each grade

Knowing pretty well

Just by looking at someone

Where they fit into

The academic food chain
