do they differ in meaning
between being written
and being read
does it matter if they
have been printed vs
long handed scroll or if they
ride the wind of a voice
are they comfortable
like cheese on a cracker
about to be devoured
or do they tremble
afraid of their sound or
being misunderstood
are they waiting/praying
for publication or longing
to perish in the flames
at the stake of some reader
If the truth be told, it is all of the above. Interpretation is always in how a thing is beheld, be it an ear or eye or mouth or hand or foot that is doing the beholding.
