I Left My Heart...

by Maria Francesca

i left my heart
in San Francisco
I left my shoes
in Aberdeen

I left my shirt in Bogota`
In Kiev, I left my bra
In Cozumel,
I left my jeans -
they were green -

My cash is in
Atlantic City
My credit cards
in Baton Rouge

When I come home to you,
San Francisco,

I will be cold
and broke
and nude.

Clever, fun poem, Maria. Perfect for a Saturday evening, with glass of wine in hand. :)
