Alright

by Chris Sorrenti

I told him it's alright to be angry
     even a jedi
so long as it's channeled into lesson

I told him it's alright to get frustrated
     even a magi
as long as it evolves into patience

I told him it's alright to see himself
     as something he's not
so long as striving for its excellence

I told him it's alright to fear growing old
     even a priest
as long as it strengthens his faith

I told him it's alright to grow weary
     even a teacher
when talking about the light and darkness
     within us all

And to all a good night! Another from the Sorrenti vault, I see, and this one full of wisdom one can carry neatly into 2017. Thank you Chris!
