I have no quarrel with you sir
impressed by the band’s work
on Who’s Next
especially Baba O’Riley

I recently met some Irishmen
who although in their twenties
still not over that adolescent phase
three of them quite inebriated
at my Grey Cup party
when a commercial of you
flashed on the tube

All that was needed
to get them going
realizing now I’d failed to query
if they were north or south
though judging by the jeering
could easily have been with the I.R.A.

Upon witnessing their shenanigans
didn’t feel desire to discuss
Pete Townshend’s guitarwork
saw no point in pushing
the over opinionated issue
although must admit I did find
a touch of humor
in their nickname for you
