A Portrait Of The Aftermath Of Existence by Tom Goss1.
don't skin the face
of enormous ego
unless you're prepared
to imbibe from a sea of writhing monsters
2.
leaping from mountaintop to river bed
all true wanderers know how to slither
into the crisp blue of the horizon
(I am trapped in a haze of defiant flowers;
in a flurry of dissolution the bats of anxiety explode from my eyes
and I become the history of the world)
3.
a single moment = eternity
stretching a soul
across the 67 moons of Jupiter
I bear witness to
human creativity
4.
she unfolds before me
like reverse-engineered origami
at the cusp of comprehension
our two curves finally meet
in this mysterious geometry
we call life 11/16/2016 Posted on 11/16/2016 Copyright © 2025 Tom Goss
