Tell me Mr. Schick
if four blades are clearly better than one
definitely provide a smoother shave than two
are such a big improvement over three
then why didn’t you make that leap of faith in the first place?

And though no rocket scientist is to be found
shaving in this household’s bathroom
a scary thought indeed to imagine how it took your scientists
thousands of hours and dollars of research
to come up with this clean faced no-brainer

Me thinks there’s a hidden agenda
glaring up from between the now more flexible
lubricated lines of those tiny knives
as each trip to the pharmacy finds me
grimacing at the ever increasing cost
to clear away my facial hair

And let us not forget the competition
as it’s no doubt only a question of time
before Mr. Gillette takes up the challenge
improves upon your work with a five blader

In the long run
when you’ve both made the jump to eight...nine...ten
and I can no longer buy the twin blades for my Sensor Excel
maybe then I’ll go out and get that electric razor
I should have bought in the first place
