the true test of Love...

when blood proves itself more precious
than a stolen camera and CDs
for these are only material things
and can easily be replaced

a lost child finds himself
once more at home to roost
finally realizing the cruelty of the street
that he need never be forced to leave again

maturity...wisdom...and respect
settling in on both sides

...all that was ever asked for in the first place
