worm-eater allie

by Desdemona Sinestra

she scraped off my answer
like cancer
and filled it in with what she likes
when the worms crawled in
we clotted up inside arteries

well yeah i guess I made a mess
but I liked it
walking shoulder to shoulder
and she needed to find
some way to unwind
and I did it all just fine

pills in the drinks
well, yeah, i bet she laughed
at the worms who've been
counting on her bite
but i paid them no mind
cause I've done it all
(but I'll write about that later)

yeah, i guess i made a mess of things
but now i know how to feed it
she needed to find
some way to unwind
and i did it all blind

-will you sit for just a little bit
I'm blind
but i can smell when you're bleeding-

and she spat out ganglia
after I set her up
-oh, slow me down-

yeah I guess she should feel blessed
she's passive aggressive
and i low-key stressed her out

so she needed to find
some way to unwind
she's at her best when she's in a bind

Really like what you've done here Desdemona. Full of playful twists and turns, riddles to exercise the mind. Thanks for posting!
