Even Hitler had a girlfriend by Jolie JordanYou ask how I know.
Because.
For months,
I slept in my bones
next to someone
with a wasps nest of a mouth.
Everything that came out
was honey. Lovely at first.
(Sticky,
sweet, lies.)
I've since buried
the sheets
we once shared,
instead of my head.
And I am awake now.
I still wonder how you sleep at night, though.
..Warm?
..Do your lies tuck you in?
I am almost certain if this God
you've claimed to have found
forced you to play dominos,
lining up every untruth you ever told
your black & white painted bricks
would shadow each other (for Miles.) 05/05/2016 Posted on 05/05/2016 Copyright © 2025 Jolie Jordan
