Jumping Jack Flash

Jack be nimble,
Jack be quick,
And Jack jump over the candle stick.
never saw you as the martyr type
never dreamed that you would try
guess the hawks and doves still have you ‘fifty’
though now the candle’s only lit at one end
melting the makeup of the clown
only to reveal a wise man
