Tour 2016 by Keith D Allison
The sun gave its warmth to the sparkly diamonds in the snow
Yet another year lay down to pass glory to the dreams in the moon
Oh life
you pass so quickly seventy mark upon the tree
No melody for the story of life drum
Still no words to place on parchment of the stone
Pay now the place to lay the ashes of weary soul
the wheel still turn not yet at frozen
Once more that distant morning bring to want of the trail
The face like weathered leather
Tasting the wind and rain the breath of heat and cold
no one come to walk the emptiness of the hall
faces like ghost
though longing to rest
the fire consumed those wall once call home
oh for the breath, sweet smell of a lass hair
those season shadow dark laying in the past
grab my bicycle stuffed a bag or too
tie on a tent a sleeping bag and a stove
may seem Crazy
life is ready to start anew
