Introit

by Leonard M Hawkes

In Nature,
Through Nature,
I have ever
Seen His face.
In Passion's storm
E'en temporal sin--
Nature has
Unveiled His grace.

And may it be
In life's decline
In bitter days
That sure will come--
In Nature
Through Nature
I shall Know
The One.

Universally esoteric...I like how this one allows others to take what they will from it.

Salutations to the prepared mind. For if there is no destination, then the travel is not worth the effort; even if it is a bitter road we sometimes travel, we do so willingly--this spark of fire called humanity, living briefly but with such depth.
