Your physical beauty
and within it your smile
especially the few times
I’ve made your face light up

Your giggle guffaw
but what I especially look forward to
is hearing you in a side splitting belly laugh

Your quick wit
always ready with a come back
unless I catch you off guard
but you’ve caught me by surprise a few times too
which I enjoyed

Your fierce anger
and though intimidating in one sense
also kinda sexy

The fact that you’ve always seemed haunted
troubled by something
or at least in deep thought
perhaps a poet like myself?
though yet to fully realize it

But most of all
that I’ve always felt a spiritual connectedness to you
uncanny baffling unnerving
as if we’ve been associated for all eternity
