Time to leave dogma to the dogs
the Devil to God
depression to the optimistic
unbearable ticklishness to the compulsively serious
war to lovers
politics to the voters (registered of course)

And having said all this
maybe now I can write that poem
which continues to elude me
but if experience serves me correct
end up with something completely different
from what I initially intended
