Dragon Greed

by Dan Linn

In seven dimensions,
time is a folded note,
on a desk of emotion,
afloat on castle moat.

Tears blossom in ice,
propelled by math blues,
heads of pins dance
in angel's ballet shoes

All senses bounce,
and taste like impact,
paper tigers pounce
and fantasy forms fact.

Wishing beyond wealthy,
makes the universe tiny.
Dragons aren't greedy
only some of it is shiny.

I enjoyed the tight form to the stanzas here, and loved "fantasy forms fact". Thanks for this.

The universe is exactly as large as it needs to be, and no larger. You don't have to be a dragon to appreciate that the glass isn't half empty OR half full...you just have about twice as much glass as you really need. I love this, and I love dragon poet-boys. Thank you....lk
