Irma Shouts

Irma shouts in Italian.
Not out of pain or anger.
So I can listen to her all day.
“Why are these lights on? In Italy we turn the lights off!”
When I visited her last she made me laugh.
“I love your green sweater, I am going to steal it from you!”
Joking is good.

a lovely ode, this is. and Irma is as good a name as any to substitute for the real deal.
