Water Seeks It's Own

by David Maurice

Imagine a teeter totter
see sawing it's way
through

level

that point where
every single thing
resides balanced

every sway past
this sweet moment
leaves like a kiss
at a wayward station

and someone, somewhere
there is the fulcrum,
bearing the burden
gladly
