Synchronicity by Chris Sorrenti
our paths cross haphazardly in the physical world
and you’re that same pleasant distraction again
long gone the ‘what could have beens’
and despite despites
happily now I ponder
all that lingers matters between us
that combined sense of purpose
in knowing accepting
who and what we really are
reinforced confirmed in
synchronistic realities
a secret only you and I share
with that great poet in the sky

Posted by Laura Doom on 03/15/15 at 12:12 PM A touch of irony here, balancing synchronicity and separation from one perspective of the equation, reinforced by white space v centering(?). |

Posted by Terry Olynik on 03/18/15 at 05:07 PM My goodness I'm flush with embarrassment. Don't know how to thank you. However I'm still holding out for Padma Lakshmi. Sorry. |
Posted by H.M Stevens on 03/18/15 at 09:05 PM Chris, I've always been a fan of your poetry. A few of your works really having stuck with me throughout the years. Only today to come across this work as poem of the day no less, and I can say, I'm feverishly touched and inspired by this work. Thank you as always for sharing. |
