Grief's Madness

by Clara Mae Gregory

In the nebulous night,
the moon's pearly smirch
emblazing with shine,
becomes pallid and plain
as a dimmed starflame
goes drab and ashen.
Diffused in sapphire sadness,
the memories vanish
within the cloud's rain
cast upon grief's madness.

I like this very much CM. Short but poignant use of vocabulary.
