You don't know nuthin

by Steve Michaels

Slurpee kisses amidst gravy embraces
comprise the entrees in your dinner menu

you don't know the angst of an angry
keyboard or the stab of repetition

your brain hiccups when I rant
about compulsion. Your sex twitching
and glistening as I verbalize frustration
over how hard living leaves me.

Right over your head (course you're kneeling
anywise) fly ejaculated phrases in feeble
attempts to capture a feeling.

You don't know nuthin about love
and loving you is all I know.
