Idiom Savant

by Philip F De Pinto

Everywhere the idiom went
It never got there
And so it kept going
Until it did
But it never would

And everywhere
The idiom never got to
Those who were expecting it's arrival
Are wondering when it will
Cause it's the one
They've been waiting for
All their lives
To alleviate what ailed them
Which was plenty

As opposed to the other idiom
Clearly no savant
Which never went anywhere
But always managed
To get everywhere
About whose constant arrival
Those who were anticipating the former
Could care less

For clearly this latter idiom
Was not the one
Ever to fit the bill
Of allaying all their ills
Which were plenty
Nevertheless he charges them
Dearly

Life charges the most to those who really 'enter here'. But then it should as those who really enter receive so much just by letting themselves take part in this indescribable event. Nice write Philip!

Remarkable circumlocution. Just remarkable.
