Unable to Seperate by Sam RobertsThe firefly is rocking us to sleep
moonlight madness, hold and
keep.
This light, In a box. dreamless. I weep
at your blinding eyes
staring into a world, behind the pulsing skies
And we stare
secretly, catching a starfish face,
we kiss, head traffic, this terrible bliss
So look away, before the smiles slowly arrive
knowingly ashamed, and we should not be so
Alive
Thrive to understand, while your hand lays on top of mine
Thrive to understand it all
just because we can. 02/16/2014 Posted on 02/16/2014 Copyright © 2024 Sam Roberts

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 02/17/14 at 06:57 PM Hi Sam. Nice reminder of how it's good to have someone special in our life, regardless of the relationship; as I like to say: surrounded by strangers in a world gone mad. It can be scary too, as life offers no guarantees, sometimes one just has to make that leap of faith. |
