No crystal ball to tell me
No oracle of renown
Or potentate to reassure me
I am on my own

Yet, not I, for Christ dwells within
Earthly advisers are all well and good
Even necessary at times
But resting in Jesus gives peace

Thus my goal for 2014
To place my faith and trust in Him
Who was and is and evermore shall be
Timeless He throughout Eternity
