Vaudevillian

by Jody Pratt

A theatrical mix of vauch and vaticine;
wits dished out in delirium and fantasy.
A fancy free reenactment of purgatory,
and strikingly as satirical as irony.
A wish-less bliss of miss-pressed kisses,
and impressed bucket list enthusiasts;

I can not vate; to write and pianist
is quite delight and of interest;
I, but what of muteness and antagonize;
my soulless bellow and shallow looks.
I am nothing more than tattered pages
and vastation of plays and danced on books.

what the baton of fingers dictate, words fall wonderfully in line in what is no less than a powerful musical orchestration.
