Story Not Long
by Philip F De Pinto
My life in part
If you are to judge or abridge
Or lengthen
As opposed to the whole of it
Its entirety
Lived side by side with yours
Or apart is at the heart
Of this story not long
Have you seen it occurring in me
Life I mean
Have you been living your own
All the while
On the sly
Not
Side by side with mine
But apart is at the heart
Of this story not long
